I will be glued to the tv this morning watching the Rose Parade. It's just one of those events that happen each year that I refuse to miss. I started watching it when we were first married and I don't think I've missed one since. I remember the year it was first broadcast in COLOR. OMGosh!! Now that was impressive. It was better than watching a fireworks display. I just ooooo'd and aaaawwww'd

By the way, have you ever heard of LaHarpe KS? That's where I got my start many, many years ago.
And a very happy New Year to you, Linda! We watched the Rose Parade also. It was so beautiful, and then we glued ourselves to the TV watching football. We were sure rooting for USC, and they didn't disappoint. Go Pac 10!
