WOOHOO!!  (Bonnie's Orca Bay)..... My CherryLime Mash TOP is now finished.
I am soooo glad.  Goodness that was intense.
I don't think I've ever made a quilt that had that many pieces.   It does lay very nice and square and the borders were easy to attach.
I did enjoy the mystery very much.... but I will also have to say that it was starting to get tiring toward the end.

I'm going to let it rest awhile and then maybe add another wide dark brown border.
Or not!  I'll decide later.

Thanks for stopping by....Linda

  1. Your quilt is lovely. I agree with you about the piecing of that quilt. That is a LOT of piecing! Job well done. It is very pretty too. I love your colors.

  2. It looks fantastic. You did a great job. I love the colors used! Congrats for the finish!

  3. That's really a great quilt, Linda. Looks so complicated. Very nice!!

  4. WOOHOO!! Absolutely GORGEOUS!! I LOVE your colors!! I totally agree with you that it gets very intense and tiring towards the end - but I also vote for one more wide brown border. I think it would be the icing on a very BEAUTIFUL cake!! CONGRATULATIONS!! WELL DONE!!

  5. It's beautiful just as it is, Linda. And for what it's worth, which is absolutely nothing, I vote for no additional border at all.

  6. I would add the brown border but either way it is beautiful. You did a great job: Bonnie would/will be proud. ;-)
