Table Topper...

After I had made the Halloween placemats and runner for our guild auction I had a lot of the fabric and scraps left over.

So the other day I started playing with some of the leftover blocks and came up with this.

Aren't those skeletons cute?
I had just enough of this fabric left so I could cut them lengthwise without having to piece them.  I'm still thinking about what I want to make to use the rest of this fabric.   I do know I'll be making some coasters but they certainly won't use up much fabric.

<<<This is the final table topper.  Size 39"x39".  Just the right size for my dining table.

I'm heading over to Judy's Design Wall Monday.
Let's go see what wonderful things have been made.

I hope you're having a great day. Glad you stopped by.....Linda

  1. Oooooohhhhhhhhh I LOVE your skeletons!! They make the PERFECT border!! I don't know how much fabric you have left - but you could maybe make a Sudoku Quilt - all you need is 9 - 2" squares of 9 different fabrics - and they are super easy - ;))

    2. That would have been a cute idea but the only scraps I have left are only three different fabrics anywhere from 9" to 12" WOF. I've already used up the assorted fabrics in this topper. Good idea though. Keep thinking. heehee

  3. Thanks Ellen. It was fun to throw together. Quilting is finished so now just need to get the binding on.

    1. Thanks Ruth. I have to say that I giggled a time or two while I was sewing those borders. I love them too.

  5. Really cute, Linda! I have some of the same fabric but in another colorway. Kitty pointed me over to take a look as I sent a preview of my blog hop piece. She thought the skeletons looked familiar! I post on the 30th if you want to pop over to see how I used my kit.
