Hexie Friday.....

What a day!  Spent it driving to a Dr for some repeat tests (which turned out very well .... even tho it was a very long two hours).  Off we went to eat lunch and then headed home.  It's been a long day.

And now that it's Hexie Friday I thought I'd show you what I have accomplished this week.  Not much.... but I did get a good start on my second triangle and a few more hexies basted.

Let's head on over to A Quilting Reader's Garden and see what some of the other Hexie sewing gals have done.

I hope you're having a great day. Glad you stopped by.....Linda

  1. Oh, Wow! You have a lot of Hexies prepped. Wished I did. Love the colors of the one you're working on, Linda. Thanks for linking to Hexie Friday.

    1. Thanks Angie. I started with a jelly roll and plan to add fabrics as I go along. So these colors are my base. I hope you're feeling better today.

  2. Basting the hexies is not the most interesting part of it. Now you have the happy work left.

    1. Thanks BillieBee. Yes it was worth the drive but the 2 hour wait was a bit frustrating.

  4. At least the basting goes fast so that you can work on the flowers..

    1. That is so true Wendy. I like to try to baste one night and sew the block pattern the next night so I can stay ahead of the game.
      Thanks for stopping by.

  5. You have quite a few all ready to be sewn together - the prep work isn't always fun but it sure is worth it when it is done!

Glad you had good test results.

    1. Thanks Ellen. I'm glad the results were good too.

It seems the more hexies I get prepped the more I want to prep. I'm loving those piles of hexies. haha
