Hexie Friday....

One more post to show off the progress of my hexie quilt.
It is definitely taking shape now and from here on I'll be concentrating on making more 'blocks' of the many different colored fabrics that I have cut.
It may be awhile before I post another update.

On the machine side of my quilting this week I've been sewing together the last 20 blocks for my Easy Street.  One more block to make and then I can start sewing the rows.  I'm hoping I can at least get the top finished before her next mystery starts.   That's probably wishful thinking since I've decided I want to put a pieced border on it instead of a plain one.  But it's worth a try.

So today I'm linking to A Quilting Reader's Garden Hexie Friday.

I hope you're having a great day. Glad you stopped by.....Linda

    1. Thanks Billie. Yes it keeps me motivated. Now I'm looking forward to adding enough blocks to decide how wide I want it.
      Always new goals.

    1. They're just like that old potato chip saying...."can't eat just one". Well I can't make just one! They're so addictive. lol

  6. Your hexie project is so neat! I love the colors you are using. All my Easy Street blocks are done - I just have to put it together. I love her color scheme for the upcoming one - I just don't have the time - I'll just save the parts for now. Thanks for linking to Hexie Friday!

    1. Thanks Angie. I can't believe I'm enjoying these hexies as much as I am. The more I make the more I want to make. lol
I did finish all my blocks and have two rows sewn together. But I have to stop now and get a binding sewn on one of the snuggles.
I'm still pondering the fabrics I pulled for Celtic Solstice but every time I think I'll change them ... I decide I like them after all. Talk about indecisive! haha
