Monday Design Wall....

My last Christmas Snuggle quilt is finished.... This years #7.... whew!!
After pondering several border designs I finally settled on this one.

Because of the design layout of the center (way longer than wide) I knew I didn't want to add the same border around the whole quilt.
So after adding that first block border I came up with the two extra block borders on just the sides.
That did it!  Exactly what it needed.

Now this top will go to my quilting gals and I'll pick up #6 that they have finished quilting.

Gosh!!  Maybe I can play around with a few small things I've been wanting to get made.

And today is Monday so I'm linking this over on Judy's Design Wall post.
I hope you're having a great day. Glad you stopped by.....Linda

  1. What a great solution to the odd dimension dilemma! I'll try to remember that.

    1. Glad you stopped by Libby. I usually don't have that much of a difference between length & width. But when I designed the tumblers this way that last row added so much more length that I had to come up with something. I'm glad this works.
I hope it works as well for you.
      Have a great day.

  2. That turned out VERY nicely!! I LOVE your border solution - GREAT idea!! And CONGRATULATIONS on getting SEVEN done this year!! I like how our little "Race" spreads the Christmas cheer throughout the entire year - and not just the last couple of months - ;))

    1. Thanks Kitty. I'm so glad I had these all planned and our "Race" helped me keep focused for sure. Now I can play with anything I want and enjoy it. ;o)

  3. This looks fantastic... love your bright & cheery fabric choices!

    1. Thanks for such a nice comment Deb. It was fun gathering all the different fabrics together.

I try to always reply back to anyone that takes their precious time to comment on my blog so I sure hope you have your email enabled.
Thanks for stopping by and
I hope you're having a great day....Linda
