Design Wall Monday....

Happy Monday this Thanksgiving week.  I hope everyone will be having a safe, wonderfully blessed week.  Very little machine sewing for me this week but I will be enjoying my hexie's for sure.

These last few days I've been working on my Easy Street trying to get most of it completed before the next mystery comes along.
I have all the blocks finished and two 'rows' sewn together so far.   Maybe I can get a few more blocks sewn into rows this week before I stop to enjoy my family over Thanksgiving.

Linking over to Judy's Design Wall Monday.
I hope you're having a great day. Glad you stopped by.....Linda

  1. Love your color combo! I did Easy Street also, my first BH Mystery. I'm on the fence with this next one, for now, but come Friday I may have to change my mind!!! Good luck with both and Happy Thanksgiving!

    1. Thank you Peggy. This is my second BH mystery. I have fabrics pulled for the Celtic Solstice but I'm still pondering if they are the "right" fabrics.
Hope you have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving.

  2. NICE colors for your easy Street, I like the pink in there. This Mystery was my First one that I followed all the way and got completed! It was a fun one, but I'll make my Celtic Solstice a little different, not in the same colors as Bonnies.

    1. Thanks very much Mary. I have always changed her colors for mine. haha Not that I've made that many!! But usually any quilt I make I change the fabric colors to make it mine. And I never use the busy busy backgrounds like she does. They make me nervous to look at them. lol So I will use tone on tone or one piece for my background. Just my personal opinion.
      Happy Thanksgiving.

  3. Good progress on your Easy Street! I'll tell you the same thing that you told me - "I had forgotten how much I love your fabric colors" - ;)) And I agree with everyone else about changing up Bonnie's colors - it's always fun to see the different color combinations used in her Mysteries. I'm still trying to decide on mine - ;))

    1. haha Thanks Kitty. I'm still pondering about the colors I've pulled too. Usually when that happens I need to make a change. But which change? Who knows. LOL
Hope you have a yummy and content Thanksgiving.

    1. Thanks Ellen. I'm really happy with the colors I chose for this mystery. Now if I could just get it all sewn together. hahaha

  5. Love your Easy Street. Even though I made one I had to really look to see the blocks. But you better hurry since Friday is only 4 days away. :-)

    1. I know! Those blocks are crazy aren't they. Even sitting right here looking at them I have a hard time making out each block. And about that Friday thing. That's not happening! I'll be with my granddaughter watching her pick out her wedding dress. Under those conditions who cares about a mystery clue. Not me! LOL
      Happy Thanksgiving.

  6. Awesome job on Easy Street! I like how your chains are dark... I think mine are too light.
Oh well... it's a fun quilt!

    1. Thanks Kathy. It was a happy accident about the dark chains. I didn't have any gray and didn't want to spend $$ so I switched it out for my purple. As it turned out I'm glad I did.
It's amazing how everyone's quilt is different.
