I have another finished quilt.  The quilting is done and the binding is on.  The gals at The Quilt Bugs did the quilting for me by using a stipple stitch.  I love the way it seems very fitting with these fabrics.
I attached the binding by machine again and have found that the more I do this the more I like it.

I wanted to get a nicer picture of the whole quilt but it's been rainy and wet outside so I'll just show you this old pic from when I finished the top.

Glad to get ALL of the homespun off the shelves.  I love the way homespun looks but I will never work with it again.  O. M. G. the raveling it did!!
 Thanks for stopping by....Linda

  1. I agree with you - love the look of homespuns (especially for a guy quilt), but hate the ravely ends. Really nice quilt, too.

  2. That looks like a VERY cozy, comfy quilt! Homespun LOOKS great - but I agree with you and Katie - it ravels and frays like crazy. I have some I haven't used yet - but when I do - I'm thinking of working something up with 1/2" seams - maybe that will help. ;))

  3. Wow, I love it, Linda! It really is beautiful! I'm with you and the others though. No homespuns for me. The raveling drives me nuttier than I already am!

  4. Love this one, Linda. So I take it you wouldn't be interested in inheriting my stash of homespun? :)
