What's on my Design Wall?

Four blocks sewn together and a whole lot of little stringy threads.  That's what's on my wall!  haha
It's been a slow sewing week for me but I have managed to get three more blocks made since I took this picture.  They're still in the pile waiting for more to be finished.

This week has been filled with other things than sewing it seems.  A couple of days spent picking out new flooring for my sewing room and the other bedroom.  Then changing my mind and choosing something else.   We're finally getting rid of that godawful 40 year old carpet that we put in there when we built the house.
Go ahead and snicker..... you all know the kind of carpet I'm talking about.
Yes that's right!!  Shag!!!  OMGosh what were we thinking??!!
Well anyway.... the last of May we'll be busy clearing out the two rooms so the guy can have a clear shot at laying the new floor.  I'm looking forward to not having carpet in there so it will be easier to clean.

And a couple more days were spent getting the camper advertised and showing it to a couple of different people and gladly one couple bought it.  Soooo glad that is done!

This week I plan to spend more time sewing for sure.  For now I'm linking to Judy's Design Wall Monday post so head on over to see what others have been doing.

I hope you're having a great day. Glad you stopped by.....Linda

    1. NOT CARPET!!! haha I can't remember the name of the company right now and I'm too lazy to go look for the info. All I can tell you is that it'll be a medium shade and individual planks. I can't wait. And I'll take pics when it's done. ;o)

  3. Good news on both counts then---bye bye carpet and bye bye camper. I wish we had pulled mine up in the sewing room and put down laminate like we did in kitchen when we had the chance.

    1. And believe it or not this was all my hubby's idea. He does the vacuuming and he kept saying that it really needed to be out of here.... so what's a girl to do except agree!! haha

    1. OMGosh!! Really? Hot pink? And I thought my blue/green was bad. That just proves that it's always good to look around. You can always find someone that has it worse than you. LOL
      Thanks for the chuckle.
