Good Monday morning!!  Yesterday I said that I'd show you the Red top that I have been working on for the Monochromatic Challenge.
On my other post I said that I was going to sash these pinwheel blocks.
Well....as usual ... I changed my mind and went back to EQ and decided to set them on point and add some Snowball blocks.  This pic is only showing 3 of 5 pinwheel blocks across and there will be 6 blocks down.  This will make the quilt much bigger without having to make more pinwheel blocks.  (I was running out of red scraps)  I'll also be adding red and white borders to finish it off.

So since it's Monday why don't you head on over to Patchwork Times and check out Judy's Design Wall and see what some of the other quilters have been up to.
Thanks for stopping by....

  1. I love red and white quilts. The on point setting works well with the blocks.

  2. It looks wonderful, Linda. I love setting blocks on point for just that reason (makes the blocks go further) and also because it looks so darn good!

  3. Your red and White reminds me of the McCall's Quilt Design Star winner from 2010 by Kathleen that is in the current magazine.

  5. I'd share my red stash with you, but that's one color that never stays too long in my house...except in finished projects :) Your project is looking fantastic. Sandi
