I haven't worked on it as much as I had planned these last couple of weeks but I did manage to get these four 'blocks' made.
I've gotten a lot of basting done and I've sorted some of them into groups for the 'blocks'. Eight more ready to go.
And still more ready to be sorted. This is where I store the basted hexies until I get ready to work them up into the blocks.
I'll be linking this to HELP for Hexie-aholics over on Sarah's blog.
Back to Christmas preparations......
I hope you're having a great day. Glad you stopped by.....Linda
Hi Linda - thanks for joining HeLP for Hexie-aholics. You've done a lot of basting and I'm sure you can't wait to see the blocks come together. They are lovely colors!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sarah. I am enjoying the basting process as I love seeing them all lined up nice and neat. lol
DeleteHexies - hexies - hexies - EVERYWHERE!! They are really looking GOOD! - ;))
ReplyDeleteLOL That's what I think sometimes too. Thanks
DeleteAs a newcomer to hexies, I'm curious what setting you're going to use for yours. I'm piecing together my hexies ... Kansas Troubles fabrics with a red "path" set in a tumbling block setting.
ReplyDeleteHi Kathy. Your hexie project sounds wonderful. I am using "Martha Washington's Flower Garden" as my inspiration. Here is a link to my Pinterest board and the pin. http://www.pinterest.com/pin/37506609369774278/
