I really dislike having to change the time. I don't like it in the Spring and I don't like it in the Fall. It just messes up my internal clock. And I don't need anything else to mess with me that's for sure! heehee
So I think I'll get out my Hexies today (while I'm cheering our Chiefs) and see if I can get a few more sewn together. I really haven't worked on them much these last couple of weeks even tho I have managed to sew these three blocks together. It's a start anyway.
And I'm going to link over on Kathy's Quilts. Let's go see what others are working on today.
I hope you're having a great day.
Glad you stopped by.....Linda
I am so relaxed today, I forgot about the time change until I read your blog!!!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your hexies!
haha Now that's relaxed alright!

ReplyDeleteI got up way to early and hate the adjustment, but I am trying to take advantage of that extra hour to do more stitching. I have a hexagon project that I work on while in the car, but my schauzer who often comes along, decided yesterday to sit on my lap the whole trip. So maybe I can squeeze some hexies in today to make up for it!
ReplyDeleteI did the same thing this morning Carla. Was able to get a bit of guild paperwork done and still left lots of time to browse the blogs. ;o)
DeleteNow time to grab a bite of lunch and enjoy watching the Chiefs in between stitching hexies.
Thanks for stopping by.
I agree with you on the time change. It seems like the perfect day to settle in with a little bit of handwork. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteAwwww it certainly was. I spent all afternoon with my hexies, hubby and football. Can't beat that! haha
DeleteThanks for stopping by.
LOVE your hexies!! - Glad you had a nice, relaxing afternoon. I agree with you and everyone else on the time change. Sometimes I wonder why they don't just split the difference - change it by 1/2 an hour and leave it at that - ;))
ReplyDeleteThanks Kitty. Well I guess that's a whole other twist on the time change that would work. haha But I doubt that a 1/2 hour would really help them much out there on the golf course (probably is really why some politician came up with this cockamamy idea in the first place)
ReplyDeleteI love your hexies! I am going to try and wait until 2014 (sounds like so far off doesn't it?) to start a hexie project. Just curious how you go about doing yours. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThanks Deb. Sorry it took me so long to reply but this has been one of those Dr visit weeks.
DeleteYou have probably made a very wise decision by waiting till next year to start on Hexies. They are so addictive I had a real hard time getting anything else done when I started my projects. haha I know you'll enjoy them.
Thanks for stopping by
