I've been concentrating on basting LOTS of hexies to get ready to add some more 'blocks' and work on the borders.
I don't think I can squeeze any more into this container. lol
I did get one more 'block' made and pressed. And I have about 10 more groups sorted to be ready to just grab and sew whenever I have a minute.
Did I tell you that I love hexies?
I'm heading to link up with Judy's Design Wall Monday -- and -- Kathy's Slow Sunday Stitching.
Let's go see what other quilters have been up too.
But for now..... Have a great day. And stitch happy!
I love that photo of your box of hexies all lined up and ready to stitch. Having everything organized and prepared is so important for making progress. Hope you enjoyed your stitching!
ReplyDeleteFilling that box is one of the things about hexie sewing that I love the most. Then I gather the 16, 8 and 1 asst hexies that I need for one of the 'blocks' and stitch away.
DeleteThanks for stopping by Kathy.
Looks like you are pretty well set!
ReplyDeleteAt least for awhile anyway. All those cream colored hexies are for the border and the paths so it takes a lot to do their job. But I love it.
DeleteAll those hexies lined up in the box look absolutely gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThanks. I love filling this box up and then emptying it again. lol This week I've been focusing on the white border.
DeleteThanks for stopping by.
