Slow Stitching ~ In Hand EPP

I'm going to post a picture of the diamonds I have finished but not added to the quilt yet.  I laid them on the floor just to get an idea.  This is NOT the final layout since I still have many many more combinations yet to finish.  But at least this will give an idea to my plan.
I really need to get back in the groove of working on these whenever I have a spare minute.  Instead of blog hopping and dreaming of 'to-make quilts'.   That fabric doesn't sew itself!!

I'm linking to a couple of blogs this morning.  Kathy's "Slow Sunday Stitching" ..... and ..... Splish Splash Stash "In Hand EPP".  Come join me to check out some of the great projects other quilters are working on.

I hope you're having a great day. Glad you stopped by.....Linda

  2. This is beautiful. I so admire those who EPP - I can make a little single flower for embellishing, but the thought of a whole quilt - eeekkk!

    1. HaHaHa I don't think about the 'whole quilt'. It's just like eating an elephant .... one bite at a time. So I work on one diamond at a time. I love that it gives me something to do with my hands instead of sitting mindlessly in front of the TV in the evening.
Thanks for the nice compliment and I'm glad you stopped by.

  4. Isn't it unfortunate that the fabric doesn't sew itself :) But then the challenge of the sewing is part of the satisfaction... Your quilt is looking great!

    1. Thanks so much Janet. There are sure times I wish it would sew itself. Especially those really big quilts. haha
But then what would be the fun in that.
Glad you came by and I hope you have a wonderful day.

  10. I know too well the allure of looking at what everyone else is doing and not working on my own projects enough! I hope you're having fun playing with the arrangements and get some more work done in what ever spare time you can find, too. thanks for linking in with "in hand"!
