And I'm going to be linking over on Judy's Design Wall Monday.
I've managed to get all of the blocks finished for this Christmas snuggle.
All that is left to do now is the borders. I had toyed with the idea of doing something extra with the borders but when I added several different ones with EQ7 I really didn't like any of them with this design. So I settled on simple.
I'll be sewing them on this week and then it goes to the girls for quilting.
This should qualify for our Leisurely Race To Christmas (with Squirrels Allowed) that my Left-Handed Quilter blogging friend and I are doing again this year.
She did such a great job of posting the *rules* for our LRTCwSA that I decided to just link to her post here. And I'm inviting all of you to join us as we happily sew along in this laid back leisurely race. hahaha
Get those Christmas fabrics pulled!! It's later than you think.
I hope you're having a great day.
Glad you stopped by.....Linda
What a pretty quilt! I like how you can see stars or diamonds depending on how you look at it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the shout-out - and for letting everyone know that our little "Race" is open to one and all. Please join us - it's FUN!! - ;))
ReplyDeleteAs I have said before - I REALLY like your setting on this quilt. Thanks for giving me permission to steal/borrow it for my Gingerbread Men - when I get there - haha - ;))
Our little race is Fun isn't it? Especially this year when I knew right off the bat that I had SIX quilts to get made for Christmas. So far I'm doing good and staying focused.
DeleteAnd you are more than welcome about the setting for my snowman quilt. It's been so easy to get sewn together.
That is just the cutest quilt. I love how you set it too.
ReplyDeleteThanks Chris. I owe it all to EQ. I can't sew a straight line until I put it in EQ first. haha
DeleteThanks for stopping by.
From hexies and handworks to this---cute quilt. I love how it makes a secondary pattern with the pieced bits between the stars. At least I THINK that is how you put it together? Hooray for EQ so you can audition those design decisions without doing the cutting and sewing first. I would hate to put something on there just to pull it right back off as you did not care for the end result!
