I'm battling my blood pressure right now and just can't get it under control so I really haven't felt much like sitting at my machine for long.
But...I have been quietly working on my hexies and I'm getting quite a few *flowers* sewn together. I think I have about eight more to make then I can start sewing the path's and try to figure how to start setting it together. I've really enjoyed making these so I can sure see how they become addictive.
I found a free download template from Geta Grama that I can print my own hexes and cut them out easily (here).
I ran a few sheets of cardstock through the printer and plan to spend the afternoon cutting and watching the K-state basketball boys play.
Then maybe a nap later.
I hope you're having a great day.
Glad you stopped by.....Linda
Your hexies are so cute - I have some in blues with yellow centres but got stalled. Must get back to them. I hear ya - getting old sucks!
ReplyDeleteYou really have been bit by the hexie bug! They are turning out so prettily too. I downloaded the file though I do not know when/if I might need it. I know a couple of gals in my group have done them or are doing them. One used those plastic pop out deals and I have one extra rosette on my design wall that will go in my Farmers's Wife Sampler, thanks to Brenda!
ReplyDeleteI do not like to complain about my aches and pains, ills either. DJ is constantly saying what didn't you tell me you were having trouble with (fill in the blank). I just hate to be complaining, whining, dwelling on it---nothing you can do about it some times so why keep bellyaching. Next thing you know you areacting like my grandma trying to "outsick my sister's MIL---sad, just sad, but if you are a little snarky like me, a little funny too.
