So this year I decided we would buy a few plants and pretend we are gardeners. Soooo, we planted 4 tomato plants, 3 pepper plants, 4 zucchinis and 4 butternut squash. We added that good stuff to the soil and after planting put a layer of straw over the soil to help preserve the moisture. And we watered and waited and watched and .....
Well.... pretending didn't work and we are NOT gardeners! We've had a miserable crop of veggies. especially zucchini's. I believed 'those people' that said if you planted just one zucchini you'd be overrun with them. Well.... 'they' didn't know my 4 plants.
And the green peppers. Hahaha I do believe this picture says it all. Hubby may be happy but my peppers.....not so much!
