Just a quick picture to show how I'm coming along with my Carol Doak blocks that I made and how I'm setting them together. I'm really happy with it so far.
And of course, it's really much prettier in person.
So now I'm going to link to Judy's Design Wall Monday.
I hope you're having a great day.
Glad you stopped by.....Linda
I love your blocks and especially the neat sashing. The colors are perfect and your work is great.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the nice compliment Kris. I sure wish the camera would capture the true colors of the fabric. Glad you stopped by.
DeleteWhat lovely blocks! And the sashing is very intriguing.
ReplyDeleteThank you Nann. It was a pleasant surprise for me when the simple sashing ended up changing the block the way it did. One more example of a quilt telling you what it wants. LOL
DeleteThanks for coming by.
Love that washing! Blocks are beautiful. Can't wait to see the whole thing.
ReplyDeleteLOL Autocorrect will get you every time. Thanks for stopping in and thanks for the nice compliment.
DeleteI meant "sashing". I hate autocorrect!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that sashing!! - ;))
ReplyDeleteThanks! It did turn out pretty cool huh? ;-)
DeleteLinda, don't faint! It's me - Donna! I haven't looked at blogs in ages, but decided to today. I love the blocks you've made and how you've put them together. I definitely need to do another paper piecing project. I hope you and Don are doing well. Dick and I and the family are fine.
ReplyDeleteWell Hello there girl! Thanks for the compliment and glad you stopped by. I love to paper piece. Especially Carol Doaks patterns. She makes is so easy without a lot of guessing if a piece of fabric is going to fit.
