Crosshatching is 1½" apart.
It is definitely the perfect quilting look for this piece (thanks Crispy & Kitty).
Yesterday I finished the crosshatching on this and 'erased' all the blue marks and let it dry overnight. This morning I just checked on it and found a few more little spots that I missed so they are taken care of now.
Today the binding gets sewn on by machine and I'll finish by hand.
Nice job, Linda!
ReplyDeleteThanks. Glad you stopped by.
DeleteLove the vintage look, and your right that is the perfect stitch, perfect match!
ReplyDeleteThanks. I'm really surprised that I like those fabrics so much since I've always said that era just wasn't for me.
DeleteBut I guess you can teach an old dog new tricks. lol
What a fun quilt. Boy I would enjoy wrapping up in that one....:D
ReplyDeleteLOL I guess the picture is deceiving because what you see is all there is. It's a small wallhanging. But thanks for the nice comment.
DeleteThe cross-hatching looks GREAT! - Simple and effective - good choice! - ;))
