First.... I finished six small mug rugs that I had cut out of the blue panel. This is what I started with...
And this is how I finished them.
If I have time this week I may make some more larger ones but I'm not going to stress about it for sure.
I've also been catching up on my clues in Easy Street. Right now I have all of the sewing done on my pink (Bonnie's purple) flying geese but I still need to trim about half of them. All of the Clue #3 geese are made but still need trimming. Once I get those done I'll sew the pairs together. That shouldn't take long and then I should be all caught up by the time the next clue is posted.
This week I'll be concentrating on baking the Christmas yummy's. I don't know why I always make too many munchies because all the girls bring candies too.
But it's Christmas after all! And that's just what we do!
I hope you're having a great day. Glad you stopped by.....Linda
I like how your version of Easy Street is turning out. The mug rugs are very cute and a great use of the panel motifs!
ReplyDeleteI hope the others make different kinds of goodies, their specialities maybe, so you can swap them out? I made sugar cookies last week but no plans to make more with the holiday meal coming up. BUT you never know!
Your mug rugs are cute - what size do you make them? aND Your Easy Street is going to be VERY pretty - I like that you did different colors - not the matchey-matchey ones that others are doing. And yummys - YAY for yummys - it IS Christmas after all! - ;))
ReplyDeleteYour Easy Street is looking good. I might have to make one next year when I get my current project done.
ReplyDeleteLove your mug rugs. I have some "picture" fabric and have been trying to figure out how to use it. Now I see new mug rugs in my future.. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteThose mug rugs are adorable! What a great way to use a panel.
