It's the start of another week so that means it's time for me to link to Judy' Design Wall Monday.

I'm still working on the tumbler quilt and this was taken Sunday afternoon.   I do have all the squares cut for the borders and just have to get them sewn together.  Laying them out so the colors are nicely mixed is just as labor intensive as those tumblers.

Hubby & I were supposed to have our medical checkups this morning but the weather turned out to be not so nice.  So I called and cancelled the appointment and will reschedule later.
Oh shucks!  That means I'll be able to sew today.

You all have a good day....I've gotta get moving.
Thanks for stopping by....Linda

  1. Sewing would certainly be my first choice! Stay in stoke up the heater and stitch like there's no tomorrow! Sandi

  2. Try making a bunch of 9-patches - same colors in each set - but a variety of different sets - and then just mix up the sets. Does that make sense? Might save having to lay out the squares one at a time. ;))

  3. Don't you just love surprise sewing days? I really like this latest Tumbler quilt. Thanks to your post back in Ocotber and your help with the layout, I was able to finish my large Tumbler quilt this past month and I love it. Here's a link to my blog post about it if you're interested.

  5. Love your quilt. I'm doing a small piece using tumbler blocks as well. Can you tell me how you sewn the wavy border?

  7. I posted a previous comment and found I had left out half a sentence, so I'll try again. I love the way the tumbler quilt is turning out. Sometimes it's just a gift to have the weather turn bad and have to stay home.

  8. I really like what you are doing with your tumbler quilt. I, too, would like to know how you sewed the sides of the tumblers to the border.
