Happy Thanksgiving!!
I won't have to cook for days. hahaha
Several of you have asked if Don likes his quilt. Well....... He hasn't said anything more about it. I guess he must think he has to keep acting like he doesn't know. HAHAHA
I'm working on the last border now and then I have to find a backing for it. Maybe I'll get this thing done for Christmas.
I'm on my laptop this morning so I don't have any pics to show you. My PC had to go to the (new) computer guy to fix a problem the (other) computer guy left me with. Grrrrrr!!
Thank goodness I have my laptop. I don't use it much at home but it sure is coming in handy now. I won't get the pc back till next week and the thought of no computer time for that long....... OMGosh just gives me chills thinking about it. heehee
Have a great day

Just thought you'd like to know.....
I've been exposed!
My cover is blown!
He knows! Yesterday he came back while I was sewing and stood there visiting with me and then IT HAPPENED!
He finally asked me who I was making that quilt for!!!
!!!! PANIC !!! Mind racing!!
For about two seconds I thought about outright lying.
But .... since time is running out (see that cute banner up there--there's just days left) and I hadn't come up with a good way to get the top quilted and binding sewn on without him knowing anyway..... I decided to just own up and spill the beans.
Whew!!
Glad that's over so now I can get on with it and sew openly.
Here's the blocks all set together.....
Once I started setting the blocks together and after almost having all of them done.... I realized I hadn't been paying attention to the blue squares. They needed to rotate every other block to make the correct pattern using the blue stripe. So .... after froggin' (a lot) I finally had then sew back together.
Now I'm working on the borders. I do have the first one already attached. There will be another 5 to add yet.
More pics to follow.....

Yesterday was another traveling day. I have started another series of shots for my knee so we were at the Dr. office and then stopped in to visit with our Edward Jones guy. He's such a hoot. heehee
Then went to lunch at a little cafe that serves great home cooking. Enjoyed every bite. Too much food!! Needless to say we just had soup for supper.
I'm going to spend the rest of today in my sewing room. I've feeling pressure about getting Don's quilt finished. So I've decided I'm just going to have to press on until I get it done. Hidden or not!
Added two more books to my shelf today. Years ago I used to read a lot of Danielle Steel so when I was looking for books to read I was at least familiar with her. I bought A Good Woman and finished it last night. It was OK I guess. But I probably will not buy any more of hers. Not really what I'm interested in anymore.
As you can probably tell (if you've visited my blog much) I decided it was time to change things up a bit again. I've never been one to always keep my house the same for long so I guess my blog is no different.
The sun is shining!!
